Kuyoth continues streak, now at 4 straight Mod wins at MHR!

June 4, 1999; Unity, WI. - Friday nights Super Stock feature had Randy Spacek out in front, leading the way with Kori Richter, Terry Kroening and Lonnie Leu, close behind.  Wasting no time, Leu positioned himself behind Spacek in the 8th lap and began to apply pressure.  Paul Erikson moved into the third spot on lap eleven, placing Richter in fourth and Paul Liedners moving up fast in fifth.

On lap 14, Leu made a strong move in corner four, edging past Spacek for the lead and the feature win.  Spacek was second, Liedners grabbing third in the final lap, Richter was fourth and Paul Erikson in fifth.

Rod Herman held the lead in the Street Stock feature.  Ryan Lindner, who was running close behind Herman, was forced to pull off the track four laps later with mechanical problems. With a fourth row start, hard driving Kevin Adams moved into second on lap five. 

Herman did a good job holding off Adams until lap nine.  Chris Lindner and Dan Borst, held off Kevin Bogdanovic running third and fourth until lap 10, when Bogdanovic made his move into fourth and then he grabbed third two laps later.   Adams held the lead to the checkered for the feature win, followed by Herman in second, Bogdanovic third, Chris Lindner fourth and Dan Brost fifth.

With only two cautions held in the Modified Feature, fans were provided with a fast, well run race. Out in front, Jack Larson held off Try Kuyoth until lap nine, after that Kuyoth did a great job with a fourth row start, weaving through traffic to take the lead.  Kuyoth took the checkered flag for the win, his fourth straight.   Larson was second, Steve Isenberg third, Luke Schilling fourth and Jeff Spacek fifth.

This evenings racing program was presented by Abbyland Foods.
