Jeff Spacek best in Mod action on WDBL Night at MHR!

Before the racing begins.  Here Luke Schilling (#43) and Rod Herman (#71) do a parade lap prior to the start of the racing events.  Each week the previous week's feature winners have a chance to carry the American flag.

With a restart after a caution on the first lap, the Super Stocks ran a perfect twenty lap feature race Friday night. Leading the pack in the top five positions were Lance Leu, Lonnie Leu, Paul Erikson, Randy Spacek and Bill Schwantes. Paul Lieders moved passed Schwantes in the fourth lap, while Spacek grabbed third passing Erikson in the seventh lap. Lance held the lead for the first eight laps until Lonnie edged his way in, grabbing the front row spot one lap later. With cars being lapped, all drivers did a great job moving smoothly around the track.

Super Stocks, Super racing!  Here four cars do battle in the WISSOTA Super Stock feature race.  Scott Johnson (#8) leads Jim Stanton (#55), Erik Bolosky (#97) and Lance Leu (#14).

Taking the checkered flag was Lonnie Leu, Lance 2nd, Spacek 3rd, Lieders 4th and Erikson 5th.

With a front row starting positon in the Street Stock position, Kevin Adams was in command from start to finish. Steven Zarek moved into second, passing Dave Teatz in the fourth lap. With a fourth row start, Todd Lindner was weaving his way through traffic, getting past Teatz in the tenth lap and began to pressure Zurck. With the white flag out, Lindner made a good move, getting past Zurek for second. Taking the win was Adams, Lindner 2nd, Zurek 3rd, Teatz 4th and Ryan Lindner in 5th.

Modified action!  Here a pack of high powered WISSOTA Modifieds battle for position.  Butch Oertel (#51) leads Jed Moods (#33), Scott Duval (#17), Marty Schwantes (#47) and Jerry Weigel (#7w).

With the lead and several restarts from cautions called throughout the Modified Feature, Jeff Spacek did a great job holding off Troy Kuyoth to take his second win at MHR.

Kuyoth and Steve Isenberg held the second and third spots. Scott Duval, with a fifth row start looked strong, moving his way toward the front through traffic. Taking the win was Spacek, Kuyoth  was second, Isenberg third, while Duval and Jerry Weigel rounded out the top five.

The WISSOTA Street Stocks, are known for their wheel to wheel racing.  Here Larry Dassow (#21), Kevin Bogdanovic (#82b), Rod Herman (#71), Steve Surprenant (#6) and Mike Paul (#3) challenge each other on the third mile clay oval here at Monster Hall Raceway.
