Defending track WISSOTA Modified champion Scott Duvall (#17) claimed his first feature victory of the 2001 season.

At the drop of the green flag Bauer shot from the pole position to a three car length lead followed by Stanton, Curt Myers, Paul Lieders and Randy Spacek. After six laps Bauer began to encounter lapped traffic, which slowed him momentarily, but once around the back markers Bauer pulled to a 10 car length lead over Myers.

The first caution flag of the event waved near lap 15 for Terry Gorst, who slowed on the front chute and was unable to make his way to the pits. On the restart Myers was all over Bauer, who had built a healthy lead before the caution. The two ran nose to tail for a few laps with Myers applying heavy pressure. Meanwhile, Kevin Adams started his charge to the front with an inside pass on Stanton for fifth, then rode the high side around Randy Spacek for fourth on the next lap and began to track down Lieders.

Up front Myers made an inside move on Bauer in turns one and two and took over the lead in turns three and four. Myers led for a lap, then in turns three and four of the next lap Myers had his left rear tire cut down. As Myers raced out of turn four he realized his misfortune and moved to the high side of the front chute and was headed to the pits.  However, Bauer, who was charging to regain the top position, did not see Myers slowing and got into the rear of him, causing Myers to get turned sideways and partially onto the retaining wall. Just then, his left rear wheel, which was flat, dug into the track, sending his #7 machine into a high flip. The car jumped into the air and flipped one time before landing on the passenger door, then slammed down on all fours near the track exit. Myers immediately jumped from the car uninjured but was clearly disgusted with the situation as the car went off on the hook with heavy damage.

The final restart line up had Bauer back in the top position with Lieders on his rear bumper. Adams was now in third, Spacek in fourth and Lance Leu rounded out the top five after battling with his brother, Lonnie Leu, for several laps.
When the green flag waved it was a dash to the finish with only a handful of laps remaining.  Adams quickly disposed of Lieders and set his sights on Bauer, who had again built up an advantage over the field.

When the white flag waved signaling one lap to go, Adams charged to the high side in turns one and two searching for that little extra speed to catch Bauer. As they raced down the back chute Adams caught Bauer and was all over his rear bumper. The two raced out of turn four side by side, Bauer high and Adams low. It appeared that Bauer drifted too high and got into the 'marbles', which opened the door for Adams as they raced to the waving checkered flag.

At the stripe Adams collected his first ever career WISSOTA Super Stock feature win by mere inches over Bauer.  Lieders finished third over Lance Leu, Spacek and Lonnie Leu. The WISSOTA Street Stocks rolled onto the raceway for their feature event next. Before green flag action got underway, a slight delay was needed for Kevin Adams to get buckled into his Streeter after having his photo taken in victory lane for the Super Stock win.

Jamie Kellner and Chris Crapser paced the field to the drop of the green and as they raced into turn one it was a four wide scramble for the lead when the WISSOTA Street Stock action got underway. Kellner grabbed the lead out of turn two and on lap two it was a three wide battle for second. On lap three Adams shot to the outside of Kellner in turn four and over took the lead; however, a Ken Heser spin in turn one negated the pass.

Kellner was reassigned the top position on the restart followed by Adams, Rod Herman and Brent Mindock. With the green flag waving again, Adams wasted little time and drove around Kellner in turns one and two to take over the lead. But again, a Ken Heser spin in the same turn brought out another caution.

As the field slowed on the front chute to be realigned, Kellner had to pit due to a flat tire. Adams was then awarded the lead position and never looked back. Rod Herman chased Adams but was not able to mount a serious challenge. The battle for third was between Chris Oertel and Brent Mindock, but that battle simmered as a caution one last time.
On the final restart Adams pulled out to nearly a 15 car length lead over Herman, Mindock and Oertel. As the field strung itself out, Brent Mindock was able to make moves on Oertel and Herman to secure the runner-up position. Adams went on to score his second win of the night and second in a row in the Street Stock division at the track. Mindock finished second ahead of Herman, Oertel and Dave Teatz, who rounded out the top five.

In the WISSOTA Modified feature event 2000 point champion Scott Duval got back on track and into victory lane in commanding fashion. Robby Bunkelman and last weekıs feature winner, Jed Moore, paced the 18 car field to the green flag. Duval bolted from the third row to the front and ran door to door with Moore into turns one and two. Moore drifted into the marbles and Duval was able to take over the top slot. Tyler Keyser raced to second followed by polesitter Bunkelman, Moore and Todd Siddons.

After three laps of green flag racing, Duval had built a straightaway lead; however, a caution for Kevin Rogers, who slowed on the front chute attempting to get to the pits, diminished that lead and put Keyser on Duvalıs rear bumper.
On the restart Moore was able to pass Keyser for second. Moore and Keyser ran nose to tail for most of the green flag race but were not able to catch Duval, who again built a healthy lead.

Meanwhile, back in the field, Troy Kuyoth was working on Steve Isenberg for fifth but Isenberg was too strong for him this night. As the checkers waved Duval cruised to his first feature win of 2001 in his new Xtreme chassis ahead of Moore, Keyser, Siddons and Isenberg, who rounded out the top five.

The A-Mod feature generated the first two time winner of 2001 as Scott Anderson again won the event. At the drop of the green Mickey Nosser shot to the lead ahead of Rob Genett, Anderson and Pat Zdroik. While Nosser led the charge, Anderson and Genett ran door to door on Nosser's bumper. Suddenly, Nosserıs #34 machine developed severe mechanical problems. Smoke and sparks erupted from the near the rear end, ending his night and the opportunity to win the event.

Genett inherited the lead momentarily before Anderson made the pass on him. Anderson then set his cruise control and ran away with the win. It was his second win in a row at the track. Genett finished second ahead of Zdroik, Geboy, Halopka, and Purdy.
