MHR honors top competitors from 2000 season at banquet!

February 3, 2001; Unity, WI. - MHR, Inc. 2000 Appreciation Banquet was held at the Stratford Country Aire
Banquet Hall on Feb 3, 2001.  Approximately 400 people attended. Awards were presented by track announcers Claude Peissig and Dave Fleegel. Music was provided by " J&J Roadshow "

Trophies and plaques were awarded to the top fifteen finishers in the Modified, Super Stock and Street Stock divisions.  Plaques were awarded to the top three finishers in the A-Mod division.

Most Improved Awards were given to:
Street Stock: # 57     Brent Mindock
Super Stock: # 14L   Lance Leu
Modified: # 17     Scott Duval
A-Mod: # 57 Craig Lieders

Most Valuable People (MVP) Plaques were awarded to the Ken Kalepp family and Steve Voelker, for their dedication to the track throughout the race season.

Marty and Gwen Kaiser of  " Designing Advertising " presented the 2000 Season Champions,

Street Stock: #40 Kevin Adams
A-Mod: #57 Craig Lieders

Each driver was awarded a specially designed coat.
We would also like to thank Marty and Gwen for donating all of the Feature winner t-shirts throughout the past four years.

Modified driver and a very talented artist, Cal Maule presented each 2000 Track Champion with a perfectly drawn picture of their race cars.  Recipents were Modified#17 Scott Duval, Super Stock #57 Paul Lieders, Street Stock #40 Kevin Adams and A-Mod #57 Craig Lieders. Cal Maule also presented Jerry Weigel a picture of his #7w race car for his
support and dedication to the racers on and off the track.  Cal would like to make this an annual " Good Sportsmanship " award to be voted on throughout the race season.

Season Pass winner was Dan Baxter of Dorchester. Pepsi-Cola coat door prize winner was Chuck Goessl of Dorchester.
