Power Loss and Weather Hampers Monster Hall Show!  Double Features Next Week!

July 26, 2002; Unity, WI. - Yet another beautiful night at Monster Hall Raceway on Friday night brought 6 classes of racing to the 1/3 mile high banked oval with a great crowd of fans in the stands. The night was going along very smooth, when black fell over the track, and there was no power anywhere. A substation saw some problems causing a 10 mile radius to lose power for about an hour.

About 45 minutes after the power outage began, the stands were still filled with people, and the rain came, causing the officials to cancel the rest of the events. Double features will be run Friday, August 2 for the Wissota Street Stock, Wissota Super Stock, Wissota Modified and 2 Man Cruisers along with motorcycle races. There will be no Late Models or mechanic's races on Friday.

The Late Models will run double features on Friday, August 9 and the mechanic's race will be rescheduled. Double features, motorcycle races, along with 5 classes of great racing will make for a great show this Friday night, so be sure and come join us!
