Bobby Bennett (#1) got an unplanned view of the racing surface when he flipped his WISSOTA Late Model.

The Midwest Mods came out on the track, with 13 in the field, ready to do battle. At the drop of the green, it was #01 Al Seehafer at the helm, and the lead was immediately overtaken by the #27 of Scott Anderson, who powered through the field in the one - two corner, and coming out ahead on the backstretch. #3JR Shane Halopka tried to follow suit and catch up to Anderson, but it wasn't enough as Anderson, once again, came through with the win.

The Street Stocks saw #71R Rod Herman on the front row as the pacesetter. Herman jumped out to an early lead, with a melee of cars fighting for position behind him. Moving up fast on the inside was #00x Dan Gullickson, and right behind him the #33 of Mike Paul. Hard charging Chris Oertel moved up to the high groove on the track, to overpower the field, but couldn't get around enough cars to get to the front. The laps were winding down, and Herman was still out front, with Gullickson approaching quickly. From there on back the cars were battling for position, when a caution came out due to debris on the track. The race was nearly over once the cars were lined back up again, with Gullickson out front, and when the checkers flew, it was Gullickson who got credited with the win.

Next out were the Super Stocks, with national point leader #40 Kevin Adams in the house, and longtime veteran #22 Randy Spacek strapped in to do battle as well. The field was brought up to green flag speed, and charging through the field, #55s of Jere Stanton, who came up with the lead, after a brilliant pass through turn 3. Stanton set a blistering pace around the track, and was running away from the field. Adams, driving the wheels off of his machine, worked his way up to second, and on a white flag lap pass through turn two, it was #40 Kevin Adams who took home the checkers.

The Modifieds saw a great field of competition with over 20 in attendance. This race was non stop action with #80 Troy Kuyoth coming through the pack, followed by #22 Jeff Spacek, and #51 Butch Oertel in the top 3 spots. From about halfway on, it was all Kuyoth, taking the Modified feature win by half of a straightaway, leaving the rest of the field in the dust.

13 Late Models signed in on Friday night, upping the winners pay to $1000, which added an extra incentive to all the drivers in the field. Again, setting a blistering pace in this race was #80 Troy Kuyoth, who started on the point and drove off with the race, putting cars a lap down, and making the Ford powered #80 fly around the 1/3 mile clay oval, collecting both the regular and make up feature wins, and setting a record for Monster Hall Raceway, winning 3 feature races in one night, a feat that has never been accomplished before.

It was a great night of racing with a smooth, 3 groove track, and great weather offered a great show to the fans at Monster Hall Raceway!
