Jamie Kilty and Darrin Geiger (#11) teamed up for a victory in the 2-Man Cruiser main event.

The Wissota Street Stocks came out to the track with a host of new talent along with the current dominating forces making for an intense group of wheelmen all with different driving styles, which made for an interesting race. The battle for the points championship raged on with only fourteen points separating second place #33 Mike Paul from the leader #51 Chris Oertel, and many other intense battles that were to be finalized that night.

From the start the intensity showed with newcomer to Monster Hall Raceway, #71C Scott Clark along with hot running #71R Rod Herman charging to the front out of the gate. With cars vying for position, the caution flew with #33 Mike Paul tangling with the #22 of Chuck Gross and #55 Steve Tarsi, sending Paul to pit lane putting him in a very difficult position to catch the #51 of Oertel. The cars were back under green with Clark out front, and Herman chasing him down in second. Hard charging Oertel was trying to make sure that he would hold his status as points leader by working his way into the fifth spot.

Ahead of him, another young hotshot #3 Jared Lindner, who with the help of family and crew, revitalized his entire program, putting together a great run for the night, as he sat in third. The race was winding down, with Clark still in the lead, and Herman following closely behind, and Lindner waiting in the wings. The #36 Dave Teatz, who has been in the winner's circle before, sat running strong in 4th, and Oertel back in 5th. The white flag flew giving Herman one last shot at the lead, but Clark was too much, as he brought in the checkers, with Herman in second, Lindner in third, Teatz in fourth, and Oertel in 5th.

The WISSOTA Super Stocks came out with "The Colby Comet" #57 Paul Lieders looking strong in his heat, and hunting for another feature win. The drop of the green signified the beginning of the end of the point battle, with #22 Randy Spacek having a very significant lead, and from second place on back, the points chase was still up in the air. #14L Lance Leu came out of the gate determined to charge his way to the front, looking to advance in the points standings, to earn a strong starting spot for next weekends Budweiser Season Championships.

The stage was set for a great battle. Robby Bunkelman in his orange #55J along with his teammate #55S Jere Stanton have been on fire as of late, and with a second place finish accredited to Stanton last week, he had the momentum he needed to get to the front. The green flag dropped, and Lieders hooked his car up and got out front right away, pulling a big lead on the rest of the field, which left #14L Lance Leu to battle it out with Bunkelman, and Stanton.

#22 Randy Spacek was putting a great run together running in second, when trouble struck halfway through the race. Bunkelman went down on the low side of Leu, and Stanton went to the high side, making it 3 wide through turns 3 and 4, with both Stanton cars advancing around Leu, forcing Leu to battle back. Leu, coming out of corner number two, in a brilliant move, went from the inside of Stanton, to the outside, and passed him on the outside in corner number 3. Lieders walked away with the win, leaving the rest of the pack in the dust.

The WISSOTA Modifieds came out with the noise, with the stage set for a final showdown between the ageless legend #51 Butch Oertel, who was holding onto a 4 point lead over the smooth running black #22 of Jeff Spacek, and it was this race that would solidify the points battle for the season. "Showtime" Scott Duval in his brand new #17 started in 9th, and before too long made his way into the tip 5, working his way forward. After starting midpack, #33 Jed Moore showed that he could drive his Ford anywhere on the track, with that versatility coming in handy as he drove on the low side around 3 & 4, battling with #80 Troy Kuyoth, and in the 1 & 2 corner

Moore would go from the middle to the high side, trying to catch up to the leader, #22 Jeff Spacek. Spacek ran the black all night long, with Oertel chasing him down, Both cars setting a blistering pace for the rest of the pack to keep up. It was down to a few laps, when Duval led the charge on the high side, leading Kuyoth and Moore to 3rd and 4th, giving Spacek the win, Duval second, and Oertel in fifth, who put together a valiant effort for the season, showing the Monster Hall Raceway fans that after 29 years of racing, he is still a huge force to be reckoned with.

The stage has been set for great racing this Friday night. The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds saw #4 Jim Poyda take his second win of the season, and Shane Halopka in his Chevy #3JR has been a consistent top 5 force. The WISSOTA Street Stocks, Mike Paul has been strong wherever he is at, and Rod Herman has built up his program to be a consistent top 5 car, along with Jared Lindner.

The WISSOTA Super Stocks saw Paul Lieders come back this season and win, and #55S Jere Stanton put together some great runs. With Scott Duval coming back in the WISSOTA Modifieds it is yet another element to a great field of cars. The battle lines have been drawn. One final grudge match for Monster Hall Raceway bragging rights with the season champion crown on the line. The Budweiser Season Championships should be a night of racing for the record books.
