Seehafer, Gullikson, Spacek, Moore, and Isenberg win at MHR!

July 11, 2003; Unity, WI. - Tonight's race at Monster Hall Raceway was sponsored by Slush Puppie, Pepsi, and WIFC 95.5. It was also kids night and we took a break for autographs and bike races along with six racing classes.

Dan Gullickson (#00) continues to find the fast way around Monster Hall Raceway in the WISSOTA Street Stock division.  He grabbed another feature win this evening.

Gary Schubert and Rich Delis (#03) topped the 2-Man Cruiser main event.

The Midwest Modifieds came on the track first with John Kowalski on poll and Shane Halopka on the outside making up the front row. Halopka took a early lead with Scott Anderson right behind him. Anderson passes Halopka and gains first.

The first caution came on the track with debree on turn four. On the restart Al Seehafer passed Duane Geboy for third. Halopka stays on Anderson and is not able to pas him. Paul Niznik goes to the inside of Randy Bargender passing him for fifth position.

Halpoka and Anderson still battling for first and they get to close and spin each other out in turn two. They both went to the back. Seehafer took the lead with Bargender passing Ken Heser for third and Halopka comes from behind passing Heser and Bargender. In turn two Niznik spins and there is now only five minutes left and time is up. Halopka then passes Heser and Bargender for third. The checker flag falls on Seehafer for the win.

Street Stock were the next class on the track with Jared Lindner and Dan Gullikson making up the first row. Gullikson takes the lead. Caution on Lindner in turn two. On the restart Gullikson gains a big lead. Roger Walker then passes Lindner for second. Walker then trys to close the gap between him and Gullikson but is not able to as the checkered flys on Gullikson.

For the Super Stock feature event Randy Spacek in on the poll with Mike Duhr in second. Spacek and Kevin Adams pull ahead in the first and second positions. Cory Karshbaum goes to the inside of Scott Johnson for fifth position. They come together in turn two spinning each other out with only five laps left. Spacek then wins this feature event.

Modifieds came on the track with Darrel Hazelton in the poll position with Tim Isenberg on the outside. Hazelton takes the lead. Jed Moore passes Jack Larson and Isenberg and was able to take the lead from Hazelton. Larson was able to pass Isenberg for third followed by Jeff Spacek. Spacek then passes Larson and Hazelton for second. There is now half the race track between Moore and Spacek. Moore is able to win this feature event.

The Late Models came on the track wit Ron Berna and AJ Diemel making up the front row. Berna holds the lead with Terry Anvelink and Steve Isenberg close behind him.Isenberg then passes T. Anvelink for second. Isenberg then goes to the inside of Berna and in turn four they made contact and Berna spun out.

The restart MJ McBride passes Diemel with Tom Nesbitt and Nick Anvelink following him. Isenberg gains a huge lead with Terry Casey trying to catch up with him. By lap 15 they reach lap traffic. Isenberg then wins the race.

The 2-Man Cruisers came on the track last with Matt Hartwig/Dave Kuenne and Matt Schmidt/Tom Podratz making up the front row. Gary Schubert/Rich Delis take the lead with Josh Olson/Jared loos and Mike Widmann/Eric Luepke. Schubert/Delis gain a big lead and head into lap traffic on lap eight and are able to take the win.
