Once the racing program came to a close Saturday night the feature winners included Todd Siddons in the Modifieds, Randy Spacek in the Super Stocks, Wayne Dean in the Street Stocks, and Mickey Nosser in the Midwest Modifieds.

The Midwest Modifieds were the first to pull trackside to contest their feature race. Jim Poyda and Mickey Nosser led the field around the track to start the race. Mickey Nosser pulled into the early lead ahead of Poyda and Halopka. The caution waved for the first time on lap two for a spin in turn four. Nosser continued to lead after the restart ahead of Halopka and Jack Larson who quickly made his way through the field after starting ninth. Chris Oertl was beginning to catch Larson while Bargender, Geboy, and Heser battled each other for the fifth position with Geboy eventually getting the spot. Nosser continued to hold his lead ahead of a close race for second as Larson ran the low groove while Oertl worked the high line until back to back cautions flew on lap 16. Nosser retained his lead after the restart and went on to pick up a decisive win after leading the entire event. Jack Larson made an early charge from the fifth row and finished second ahead of Duane Geboy who also had to pass a number of cars on his way to a third place finish. Shane Halopka came across the line fourth ahead of Jim Poyda.

The Wissota Street Stocks came out next with Steve Bangart and Ryan Lindner filling out the front row. On the start Wayne Dean got a good run from the second row and shot into the in turn three but a caution resulted in a complete restart. After the restart Bangart and Lindner ran door to door for several laps ahead of Wayne Dean and Brock Wright. Lindner pulled into the lead on lap four just before the caution flew on lap five for a spin on the backstretch. Lindner stayed in first after the restart while Dean got around Bangart for second. Dean put heavy pressure on Lindner as both cars fought to stay on the bottom of the track. Bangart ran in third while Chris Schloer worked his way around Butch Kummer for fifth, Schloer then reeled in Wright and the two cars battled for fourth with Kummer right behind making it an exciting three car race for fourth. Dean finally completed the pass on Lindner for the lead on lap 19 just before the caution flew on lap 21 setting up sprint to the checkers. Dean held on to his lead in the remaining laps and went on to pick up the win in an exciting 25 lap feature. Lindner finished second after leading the first half of the race. Butch Kummer came across third after starting near the tail of the field. Steve Bangart had a nice run in fourth place. Wright finished in fifth after holding off some heavy pressure from Chris Schloer who has become a real hard charger at several area tracks.

Next up were the Wissota Super Stocks with Lance Leu starting from the pole alongside Ken Davis. Davis claimed the early lead ahead of Paul Erickson, Lance Leu, and Randy Spacek. The first of two cautions flew on lap three for a spin in turn four. Davis continued to lead after the restart while Randy Spacek worked his way around Erickson for second and began to reel in Davis. Davis began to receive pressure from Spacek on lap 14 with Spacek choosing the low line and Davis running a slightly higher line. Meanwhile, Erickson ran in third with Curt Meyers right on his bumper looking for an opening to make the pass. On lap 18 Spacek finally got a run underneath Davis and took over the lead. Davis settled in to second ahead of Erickson and a good battle for fifth between Meyers and Jerry Stanton. Spacek survived a late race incident with a lapped car and went on to win the race. Ken Davis finished in second after holding the lead for over half the race. Paul Erickson had another strong finish coming home third ahead of Meyers and Jerry Stanton.

Next up was the 40 lap main in the Wissota Modifieds with Todd Siddons and Wayne Engen setting the pace for the start. Siddons took the early lead ahead of Engen and Dave Baxter. Siddons kept the lead after a caution on lap two for a spin in turns one and two. Siddons stretched his lead out early in the race while Engen received heavy pressure from Scott Duval for second. A lap 14 caution for a spin on the backstretch erased the lead Siddons had built up and put several heavy hitters on his back bumper. Siddons once again pulled out to a healthy lead over a side by side battle for second between Engen and Duval.

Dave Baxter ran in fourth ahead of Mike Bauer. Luke Schilling was on the move at the halfway point as he worked his way around both Bauer and Baxter to pull into fourth. The caution then flew twice on lap 28 which bunched up the field for the restart with 12 laps to go. Siddons held on to his lead for the remaining laps on his way to victory lane and a $2,500 check. Scott Duval used a late race pass to take home second place ahead of Wayne Engen. Luke Schilling had a strong run finishing in fourth ahead of Mike Anderson who pulled double duty for the evening as he also competed with his Super Stock. Dan Schloer was the man on the move in the Modifieds as he picked up ten spots while coming from 17th to finish in the seventh position.

Monster Hall Raceway would like to thank everyone who came out to support the track this season and they hope to see you all back in the Spring for what is sure to be the biggest and best season of racing action in the track’s history.
