A traffic jam!  Todd Lindner (#172) stays out from of the WISSOTA Street Stock preliminary race with a pack of cars hot on his heels!

When the regular race program came to a close the only non repeat winner was Todd Siddons who swept the Modified action in his first visit to the track this season. Point leader, Adam Hensel padded his lead by running away with his second straight feature win in his Super Stock. Other winner's included Todd Lindner in the Street Stocks and Mickey Nosser in the Midwest Modifieds.

Mickey Nosser made the best of a front row starting spot and drove out front to take the early lead of the Midwest Modified Feature. Gerald Grasse and Joe Bablick gave chase several car lengths behind while Shane Halopka, Randy Bargender and Dave Salzman ran door to door for fourth. Halopka was able to break away from the pack and secure the fourth position while Salzman and Bargender continued their battle for a top five finish. Nosser had to maneuver his way
around several lapped cars near the halfway point, but he did so without losing any ground to Grasse and Bablick who continued to run in the second and third positions. Nosser continued to build on his lead late in the event and ran uncontested to the checkered flag. Grasse made a rare appearance at the track and left with a solid runner-up finish. Joe Bablick came across the line in third and was the top finishing rookie in the event. Halopka followed closely in the fourth position after picking up a heat win earlier in the night. Bargender came out on top of a great late race battle with Salzman for fifth.

Todd Lindner blasted from the second row to take the early of the Street Stock Feature race. Cory Crapser, Scott Miller, Roger Walker and Butch Kummer ran in a tight four car pack for second until a lap four spin caused the caution. Lindner retained his lead after the restart while Crapser ran the low groove right on his back bumper. The battle for third was just as intense between Kummer, Walker and Ron Hanestad.

Hanestad eventually cleared both Kummer and Walker and immediately closed in on the second place car of Crapser. Lindner continued to lead with five laps to go, but Hanestad soon closed in enough to take a look on the inside of Lindner and challenge for the win. The two cars were side by side for the last couple of laps with Lindner on the outside and Hanestad down low. Lindner was able to get a better run out of the corners which allowed him to hold on for the win. Hanestad was the "Hard Charger" of the night after coming from the sixth row to a close second place finish. Crapser backed up his heat win earlier in the night with a third place finish ahead of Kummer and Walker.

Jason Forehand and Adam Hensel filled out the front row for the Super Stock Feature. Hensel and Forehand traded the lead several times before a lap three caution put Hensel all by himself out front. Hensel got a good restart and pulled away to a three car length lead over Forehand. Mark Stender held on to third while Lance Leu, Mike Keller, Jere Stanton,
Robby Bunkelman and Scott Johnson put on a great show while going for the fourth position. Another caution on lap 15 eliminated the sizeable lead that Hensel had built up and put Forehand, Stender and Keller behind him for the restart. Hensel once again was able to drive away from his pursuers and made another trip to victory lane. Forehand challenged for the lead early on but had to settle for second at the end of the night. Stender was also able to run up front all night and came across the line third. First time visitor, Keller held off several late race advances from Leu to finish fourth.

Todd Siddons drew the pole position for the Modified Main Event and started alongside defending point Champion, Luke Schilling. After several early cautions, Siddons shot to the front to take the lead ahead of Scott Duval and Schilling. The battle for fourth was heating up as well between Chris Oertel, Paul Knauf and Jeff Spacek. Spacek used the bottom
groove to get by Knauf near the halfway point, Spacek then closed in on Oertel and Schilling and made it a three car battle for third. Out front, Siddons continued to pull away and built his lead to nearly a straightaway over Duval until the caution flew on lap 15. Siddons was able to get a good jump on the restart and stayed out front for the remaining laps and picked up the win and a clean sweep. Duval overcame a fourth row starting spot to finish second. Schilling finished third ahead of Oertel and Spacek.

Schubert/Delis used their outside front row starting spot to take the lead in the Two-Man Cruiser Feature. Porter/Smazal slowly closed in on the leaders and were right on their back bumper for the final laps. Porter/Smazal ducked to the inside of Schubert/Delis just as the white flag flew and the two cars were side by side coming around to get the checkers.
Schubert/Delis held on to take the win in a photo finish over Porter/Smazal. Rob/John Kunninger used the high side to pass several cars on their way to a third place finish.

Racing action resumes at the Monster Hall Raceway on Friday night August 20th with "Powder Puff" races in addition to a regular race program.
