This weeks winner's list included some familiar names as all of the Feature winner's picked up Heat wins earlier in the night. Luke Schilling and Adam Hensel both scored repeat Feature wins, while Roger Walker and Shane Halopka made their first visit to victory lane at MHR this season.

The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds kicked off the night's Feature action with Jim Poyda and Shane Halopka on the front row. Halopka claimed the lead at the start with Mickey Nosser and Ken Heser close behind. Nosser had mechanical problems and was forced to retire early in the event. After a lap five caution Halopka held onto his lead ahead of Heser, while Joe Bablick worked the high line to get around Poyda for third. Bablick then reeled in Heser and began pressuring him for second but Heser was able to find enough bite in the middle groove to hold off the challenge. Meanwhile, Poyda ran
in the fourth spot with Randy Bargender running up high and closing in on him as the laps wound down.

Halopka was able to stretch his lead out late in the race and not only win the race but pull into the point lead. Heser shot into second place early on and held onto it the rest of the way. Bablick used the outside line to come from last place to finish third. Poyda held off the late race charge of Bargender to take home fourth.

The WISSOTA Street Stocks were next to pull trackside with Ralph Stark on the pole alongside Jim Marshall. Roger Walker stuck his car on the outside birm and flew into the lead as he completed lap one. Stark was close behind in second only inches ahead of a side by side battle between Cory Crapser and Butch Kummer. Walker was able to build on his lead while Crapser and Kummer made their way around Stark who was then challenged by Dave Teatz and Todd Lindner. A caution on lap 12 eliminated Walker's lead and put Crapser right behind him for the restart. Walker again chose the high line while Crapser pulled below him using the bottom groove. Walker was again able to find bite up high and cruised to victory after leading all 15 laps. Crapser fought to hold off Kummer the entire event while providing plenty of side by side racing. Dave Teatz had a solid run coming from mid pack to take home fourth ahead of Todd Lindner who made a late race
pass to round out the top five.

Cory Richter and Mike Duhr set the pace for the WISSOTA Super Stock Feature. A caution on lap one set up a complete restart with Jamie Strebig replacing Duhr on the front line. Richter shot to the early lead over Lance Lue, Adam Hensel and Jason Forehand. Leu and Hensel both fought their way around Richter with five laps in the books and began battling each other for the top spot. Hensel got his nose under Leu coming out of turn four and took the lead on lap eight.

Meanwhile, Richter held on to third followed by Forehand and Randy Spacek who climbed through traffic from deep in the field. A caution on lap 17 left only three laps between Hensel and another victory, but he had Richter, Forehand and Spacek all right behind him.

Hensel had a flawless restart and pulled to a two car length lead as he passed the checkered flag. Richter crossed the line second ahead of Jason Forehand who made the jump up from a Street Stock this season. Randy Spacek over came a sixth row starting spot to finish fourth after pressuring Forehand late in the race. John Fiern topped off a solid run with a fifth
place finish.

The WISSOTA Modified Feature got off to a slow start as the caution flag flew three times before a full lap was completed. Luke Schilling took the lead when the race finally got underway while Jeff Spacek and Chris Oertel battled it out for second. Oertel drove his car under Spacek on lap five and took over second and began closing in on Schilling. Jed Moore then pulled up behind Spacek and the two ran door to door for several laps with Moore eventually getting the position. The man on the move was Kent Baxter who gained several spots to find himself in fifth just behind Spacek. After a lap 12 caution Schilling sat in the lead ahead of Oertel, Moore and a battle for fourth between Kent Baxter and Spacek. Schilling
fought off several advances from Oertel late in the race and came away with his second win of the season. Oertel stayed in contention for the win the entire race but had to settle for second ahead of Moore. Kent Baxter had an impressive run picking up five spots to finish fourth ahead of Jeff Spacek. Adam Hoyer was the "Hard Charger" of the race as he gained ten positions on his way to a seventh place finish.

The final event of the evening was in the Two-Man Cruiser division. Davis/Fitzgerald lead the race from the pole position with Bargender/Martin and Ron/John Kunninger fighting for position behind them. Ron/John Kunninger completed the pass down low on lap four and began reeling in the leaders. Davis/Fitzgerald were able to run the high side of the track and hold off Ron/John Kunninger for the remaining laps. Bargender/Martin had a solid run taking third in their first race in the division. Schubert/Delis came across the line fourth ahead of Lindner/Wilke.

Monster Hall Raceway would like to welcome everyone back to the track on Friday night June 4th for a full race program sponsored by Hardees and Central Wisconsin Auto Body Association.
