Seymour Tri-Oval back
in action next week!

July 18, 1999; Seymour, WI - Weekly racing will resume this Sunday night at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway following a week off because of the county fair.
Following his second IMCA Modified feature win of the season on July 11, Brian Mullen has assumed the point lead as racing returns. Mullen is a former three time track champion and would like to edge out RM. Van Pay this season. Van Pay has won the last two titles here and has one feature win so far and sits in 10th place in the standings. Mike Mashl of DePere is second in the points 12 behind Mullen. Mashl is also a two time feature winner here this year Mike Wedetstadt has run consistently in the top six this year and is 3rd in the standings, Scott Mullen is fourth in points and Brad Rohloff, a two time feature winner, sits fifth,
Troy Springborn holds a one point lead in the Wissota Late Model standings over Tim Buhler. Springborn won his first ever Tri Oval Feature a couple weeks ago and has been running at the front all season. T,M. Miller holds down third place only 2 marks ahead of former three time champion, Tom Naeyaert. Naeyaert has won 2 of the last 3 features at the td oval. Rookie contender, Greg Dhein is running strong, holding onto fifth place in the standings.
Jason Czarapata has won 2 street stock features and consistently finishes in the top five to hold the point lead over fellow 2 time feature winner, Jared Siefe~t. Jason's cousin, Brandon Czarapata has also carried the feature flag twice and is third in the standings. Travis Van Straten and Chas Van Ooyen, Jr. round out the top five.
Two time defending IMCA Stock Car champ, Joe White is locked in a tie for the point lead with Jerry Wilinski. Both have run strong with White winning one feature while Wilinski has been in the top four all season. Former track title holder, Rod Snellenberger has five feature wins to his credit this year posting the last three straight. He sits second in the standings only 11 behind the co- leaders. Tim Van De Hei has won one feature in the tough division and in third with rookie contender, Shawn Wagner holding onto fourth with Larry Karcz, Jr, with 2 feature wins, holding fifth.
The racing has been very close all season long on the unique 1/3 mile clay tri-oval and should get even better during the second half of the season.
The weekly programs start at 6:30 p.m. every week featuring all four divisions. The track is located at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds just through downtown Seymour on Highway 55.
