N.E.W. Dirt annouces 1999 opening date!

January 17, 1999; Seymour, WI - N.E.W. DIRT has pegged Sunday night, April 25 as the opening date for the 1999 season at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway. The club will be starting their 16th season running the weekly Sunday night racing programs on the unique 1/3 mile clay tri oval.

IMCA Modifieds will headline the popular program with the mightly WISSOTA Late Models returning once again. The Street Stock and IMCA Stock Car divisions round out the four division shows. This past fall, the track received some extensive work adding several drain lines around the interior of the track and in the pit area. The track was also resurfaced with the bulk of the work done in the racing groove with some excellent red clay.  There was also a reworking of the rest of the track as well, which should make the racing even closer that normal.

Final plans are also being put on the 1999 schedule.
