to get underway at Seymour!
March 27, 1999; Seymour, WI - N.E.W. DIRT will kick off their 16th season on Sunday night, April 25 at the unique 1/3 mile clay tri oval at the Outagamie County fairgrounds in Seymour.
The IMCA Modifieds, WISSOTA Late Models, Street Stocks and IMCA Stock Cars will again make up the big sunday night programs with racing getting under way at 6:30 every week.
Last fall, new clay was added to the racing groove and will greatly improve the bite for the drivers, the upper portion of the track was also reworked to give the make the full surface race ready.
One change on the 1999 schedule will take place during fair week, July 13 - 18. This year, there will not be any racing during the fair. The past few years, the club has opened the fair with a tuesday night race. With the new track in Oshkosh running on Tuesdays now, the date was not available.
Weekly racing will resume on Sunday, July 25 and will continue through September 5. The third annual Budweiser Nationals are scheduled for Saturday night September 25, with the Sunday, September 26 as the rain date.
