Rain claims Late Model "spotlight night", event rescheduled!

July 2, 2000; Seymour, WI - For the third time in six weeks, late day rains came through and forced N.E.W. DIRT to cancel their Sunday night racing program at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway.

The big July 4th weekend was to be the kick off of the first annual Spotlight Series that will highlight the four divisions that compete weekly at Seymour. This week, The WISSOTA Late Models would be the title division running a special feature for a $1000 first place prize. The Late Model special will be moved back one week, with the event running this coming Sunday, July 9th.

This weeks sponsor, Green Bay Motorsports, will be moved back into the second half of the season. Racing gets underway every Sunday night at 6:30pm.
