May 27, 2001; Seymour, WI - Mother Nature continued to plague the Memorial Day weekend racing action by forcing N.E.W. DIRT to cancel the big Forest County Potawatomi Community Hit The Jackpot Series Late Model special event Sunday night at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway. The weeks worth of rain and another shower in the afternoon forced the program to be postponed. It was the third time this month that rain won out over racing. Weekly racing action will hopefully resume next Sunday night with racing starting at 6:30. |
