Showers
shorten Seymour show!
By Dave Panske |
June
17, 2001; Seymour, WI - Despite light rain throughout the
heats and heavier rain during the consy, mother nature, again, had the winning hand by
throwing more rain Sunday night to wash out the four big feature events at the Seymour Tri
Oval Raceway.
The club tried to wait out the rain and started to rework the track before a
final shot closed the nights activities with 98 cars and an excellent crowd on hand.
Because all of the qualifying events were in the books, the program was a complete show.
The track crews had a perfect race track waiting for the drivers after a long week of
non-stop work to re-do the front straight after last weeks problems.
Attempts will be made to get a full program in next Sunday night.
