June 16, 2002; Seymour, WI - As luck would have it, or lack of it, a beautiful day turned bad around 3 PM when a heavy thunderstorm rolled through Seymour and forced N.E.W. DIRT to pull the pin on their Sunday night racing program at the Tri Oval. The area was saturated with heavy rain Saturday night and the rains Sunday turned the track and especially the pit area into mush. This was the third rain out of the season and we will attempt to run again next week. |
