Season to Conclude This Weekend With 6th Annual Miller Lite Shootout!

August 25, 2002; Seymour, WI - The 2002 racing season will come to a close this Sunday night at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway with the running of the 6th Annual Miller Lite Shootout.

This event is one of the biggest in the area and has always brought out a big field of cars running for over $16,000, the largest purse of the year.

All five divisions will be in action with the mods and late models running for $1000 to win. The Streets run for $400 and the Stock Cars $500. There is a $40 guarantee against winnings for all drivers.

Mods and Stock Cars will be running IMCA Rules, with NO claim. Late Models are under WISSOTA rules and the Streets are under N.E.W. DIRT rules with NO claim.

The heat races will be lined up by draw, and the feature qualifiers will re-draw for their event. Pit gate open at 3 PM for the special event and cars must be in by 5 PM or will be a considered late. Grandstand opens at 4 PM with the racing program starting at 6PM. This is ½ hour earlier than the regular season.

Admission prices are $12.00 for adults, Students and Seniors are $7.00, kids 12 and under are FREE , With an adult.
